Are you allowed to make resolutions on the 11th?
I’m totally doing it.
My resolution for 2011 is to become less. This does not have physical implications — I’m not planning on shedding pounds or anything, but rather material and spiritual ones. Reading this post and John chapter 3 in one day reminded me of how much I want to gain perspective. I want to have fewer things, sure. This has been a theme for me, lately. But I also want to see myself and my ego and my “needs” as less important than I currently do.
Good for you, hope it all works out and that life takes on a new meaning, something more profound and rewarding.
